What is the backsplash made of?
Tempered glass with the design UV-printed on the back. You see the design through the glass, and the surface you touch and clean is smooth glass.
Can it go behind the stove?
Yes. Tempered glass is heat-resistant and much stronger than regular glass, so it is made for the wall behind a cooktop. Keep the clearances given in your cooktop's installation manual. Read more in Is a glass backsplash safe behind a stove?
Where are the panels made?
In Turkey. Each panel is made to order in 1-4 business days and shipped by FedEx express directly to you. US orders ship Delivered Duty Paid, so there are no import fees on delivery. Read more about us.
Is the 3D, metal or stone effect real?
No. Relief, copper, stone and mosaic effects are printed, so the panel stays flat and easy to wipe clean.
Can I print my own photo or design?
Yes. Use the custom photo backsplash and send us your image.
Sizes
What sizes are available?
50 standard sizes from 12"x12" to 37"x77", written as height x width. See the size chart and measuring guide.
Can I get an exact custom size?
Yes. Use the size finder on any product page and request a quote, or contact us. Tempered glass cannot be cut after it is made, so please measure carefully.
How thick is the glass?
All panels are 5/32" (4 mm) tempered glass, light enough for tape or silicone and heat-resistant behind the cooktop.
Installation and care
How is it installed?
With high-bond tape, silicone, tape plus silicone or mounting holes and screws. See the installation guide.
Can it go over my old tiles?
Often yes, if the surface is flat and solid. Tape needs a smooth surface; silicone copes better with small unevenness.
How do I clean it?
Wipe it with a soft cloth and a regular glass cleaner. There are no grout lines to scrub.
Shipping and customs
How long does delivery take?
Orders are made in 1-4 business days and ship by FedEx express in 3-7 business days, so most orders arrive in 4-11 business days.
How much is shipping?
Express shipping is free to the US and Canada.
Will I pay customs fees?
Not for US orders: they ship Delivered Duty Paid, so duties and taxes are included. Orders to other countries may have local import fees. See the shipping policy.
Returns and damage
What if it arrives damaged?
Keep the packaging and send photos of the panel and the box to info@customglassbacksplash.com within 48 hours of delivery. We make and ship a free replacement.
Can I return it?
Standard-size panels with a store design can be returned within 14 days of delivery if they are uninstalled and in the original packaging. Custom sizes and personalized designs cannot be returned for a change of mind. See the returns policy.
