Tempered glass cannot be cut or drilled after it is made, so it is worth measuring carefully before you order. It takes a few minutes and a tape measure.
1. Decide where the panel goes
Most panels go behind the cooktop, between the counter and the range hood or upper cabinets. Some customers cover the whole wall between the counter and the cabinets, or the wall behind the sink.
2. Measure the width and the height
- Width (W): measure from left to right at the top, middle and bottom of the space.
- Height (H): measure from the counter or cooktop up to the hood or cabinets on the left, middle and right.
- Use the smallest of each set of numbers. Walls and counters are rarely perfectly square.
3. Check for outlets, switches and obstacles
Note any outlets, switches, window frames or pipes inside the area. If the panel has to go around them, contact us before ordering with your measurements and a photo of the wall.
4. Pick a size
Our sizes are written as height x width (H x W). Choose the largest standard size that fits inside your measurements. The size finder on every product page does this for you: enter your width and height and it suggests the best standard size and its price. If none of the standard sizes works, request an exact-size quote from the same box.

How thick is the glass?
Every panel is 5/32" (4 mm) tempered glass. It is light enough for tape or silicone on a normal kitchen wall and sits close to the wall without a bulky edge.
